Following April’s successful Llandeilo Book Fair a record breaking 38 authors will come together in the Civic Hall Llandeilo on December 10th for a bookish event with story-telling, poetry readings and book selling.
Events include readings for young children and young adults, “Welsh Legends and Myths” by Graham Watkins, readings by Llandeilo resident authors Kate Glanville and Christoph Fischer, Poetry Readings via the Open Mic, a Welsh Poem Recital competition, the announcement of the Short Story Competition and entertaining performances, such as “The Goblin Circus” by Hayley Addis.
The Xmas Book Fair will include a raffle and a gift wrapping service in aid of the Air Ambulance and a performance by the Llandeilo Town Band.
Catering will be provided by the “Hangout”, a young and dynamic Café at the Yard, with traditional, vegetarian and healthy options.
