About DelDelphine Richardsphine Richards

An experienced writer in several formats from magazine articles, short stories, to a weekly newspaper column, Delphine Richards’s new work draws on her real life experience as a member of the Welsh Police in rural Wales. She brings to fictional life a new, uniquely Welsh, policeman character, Tegwyn Prydderch, from whose grisly casebook and early memories many  of her stories are drawn.

She has also had several Short Story Writing competition successes over the last decade.
When not writing, she and her husband, Hedd, show and judge Newfoundland dogs in the UK and abroad. She claims that walking the dogs gives her time to think about where a story is going – a reason, maybe, why she trips over so many tree roots as she walks!
The second book in the ‘Tegwyn Prydderch’ series is The Truth About Eggs which is now available to order and purchase – HERE
An active member of her local Riding for the Disabled Group as Chair and Instructor – and viewed in a completely different light by her fellow volunteers after they had read Blessed Are The Cracked!’
