What a delightful cozy mystery. I am a big fan of this series since I stumbled upon the first book by chance. I picked up the book because the title character reminded me of an Italian singer who was popular in Germany when I was young. It turns out the author wrote the book with said singer in mind.
Mina is a divorced woman who has begun to dedicate her life to a cat rescue and B&B. The handover of a cat turns dramatic when Mina discovers a woman bleeding on the floor. So dedicated is Mina to her love for cats and the investigation that she forgets all about her date with Roger. Mina seems still in love with her ex Diego, whose path she crosses again during the mystery that forms the main part of the book.
Mina is a great woman with character strength and her actions are admirable. This is moving, lovely and great mystery entertainment. Highly recommended.
