“Cosega Search” by Brandt Legg is the beginning of an exciting and intriguing adventure series about a very special and unique archaeological find. The implications of the find are far reaching as they question history and human beliefs down to their very core.
The possibility of human intelligence on the planet long before it was thought to have existed interest not only the press and governments, but also the Vatican.
The story follows the archaeologist and a journalist as they are trying to figure the find out while being hunted down so they can be silenced.
Action, suspense and a hint of conspiracy writing provide an excellent framework for a deep and thoughtful reflection on science and beliefs and alternative theories to human history.
Legg has opened the trilogy with a strong and powerful book that will pull you into its story effortlessly. Amazing discoveries about the find combine perfectly with thee run for freedom and make for some compelling reading. With great pacing and with sharp dialogue and plot this should do very well. I’m looking forward to the next part in the series.
Brandt Legg is a former child prodigy who turned an interest in stamp collecting into a multi-million dollar empire. At eight, Legg’s father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business. National media dubbed him the “Teen Tycoon,” but by the time he reached his twenties, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties, lost his entire fortune… and ended up serving time in federal prison for financial improprieties. Legg emerged, chastened and wiser, one year later and began anew in retail and real estate. From there his life adventures have led him through magazine publishing, a newspaper column, photography, FM radio, CD production and concert promotion.
